Overview
How do children cope with problems?
Child abuse continues to persist in Korean society, with a growing trend. According to statistics from 2022, parents accounted for over 23,000 cases as the primary perpetrators, making up 82% of the total and the majority of abuse incidents, about 22,000 cases or 81%, occurred at home.
I have taught children in art classes, and come to realize that they convey many stories by employing their imagination. They inevitably can be greatly influenced by their surroundings in decision-making, and often struggle to perceive issues properly even when their environment is not positive for them. The problems that a child is facing are woven in with metaphorical stories, and adults who could assist may find it challenging to grasp the situation all at once.
Project Alpha is a fictional comic that reflects on such issues. the protagonist who his parents abuse, sees his house as a fantasy world and embarks on an escape game, attempting to break free from his house.

Reference
I used various formats from published comics, and the colour scheme and atmosphere used in my previous work in 2019 seemed to fit well with Project Alpha so I used my work as a main reference.
